Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Retail Sales Lead to manage and drive sales performance across retail outlets in the Calabar region. This role involves a hybrid work model, requiring a balance of in-office and remote work, with regular travel to store locations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail sales management, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for exceeding targets. You will be responsible for leading a team of store managers and sales associates, implementing sales strategies, analyzing performance data, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets. Lead, motivate, and manage a team of store managers and sales associates, fostering a high-performance culture. Monitor sales performance across all retail locations, identifying trends, opportunities, and challenges. Implement merchandising and visual display standards to enhance store appeal and product visibility. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and coaching to sales teams. Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained across all outlets. Manage operational aspects of retail stores, including inventory control, cash management, and loss prevention. Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and local marketing initiatives. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify new business opportunities and optimize sales strategies. Manage regional budgets and ensure cost-effective operations. Maintain strong relationships with store staff and provide necessary support.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail sales management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving targets. Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and customer service principles. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in sales analysis and reporting tools. Ability to travel within the region as required and work a flexible schedule, including weekends. Experience with inventory management systems. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. Reside in or near Calabar for effective management of regional operations.
