Our client, a leading developer and operator of critical infrastructure projects, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver complex initiatives in a fully remote capacity. This role requires a proven leader with extensive experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects from conception through completion. You will be responsible for project planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a strong understanding of project management methodologies, and the ability to drive project success in a distributed team environment. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and closing of major infrastructure projects. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets. Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively. Oversee contractor and vendor management, ensuring performance against contractual obligations. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders. Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on status to senior management. Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Manage project changes and scope adjustments effectively. Conduct post-project evaluations and document lessons learned. Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Utilize project management software and tools to track and manage project activities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree and/or PMP certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in project management, with a significant focus on infrastructure projects (e.g., transportation, utilities, construction). Demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects with complex budgets and challenging timelines. Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile) and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and relevant regulations. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, crucial for managing remote teams and diverse stakeholders. Proven ability to manage risks and make sound decisions under pressure. Experience working in a remote project management capacity is essential. Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets. This position is ideally suited for an experienced infrastructure project leader based in **Warri, Delta, NG**, but operating entirely remotely, offering flexibility and autonomy.
