Job Description
• We are seeking an experienced General Manager – Haulage & Logistics to oversee and optimize the company’s fleet operations. The role will be responsible for managing haulage activities, improving fleet utilization, ensuring safety compliance, and driving operational efficiency while supporting the transformation of the haulage unit into a profitable business segment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the overall management of haulage operations and fleet performance.
• Develop strategies to optimize fleet utilization and operational efficiency.
• Assess fleet assets and recommend repair, replacement, or disposal using cost-benefit analysis.
• Implement fleet technology solutions such as GPS and telematics.
• Develop safety protocols and operational procedures for drivers and dispatch teams.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and regulatory requirements.
• Manage fleet maintenance to minimize downtime and control costs.
• Identify third-party transport opportunities to maximize revenue.

Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• MBA or Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.

Professional Qualification
• Membership of relevant professional bodies such as Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport CILT, Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply CIPS, or other logistics/fleet management certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience
• 10–15 years’ experience in fleet management, logistics, or haulage operations within the oil and gas sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
