About the Role
The Senior Financial Accountant will work closely with the CFO to manage and improve the company’s financial health. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to support decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Oversee all general ledger activities and ensure timely reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with all tax, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
• Manage internal and external audits, including liaising with auditors and preparing audit documentation.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance, providing actionable insights.
• Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
• Provide support for financial analysis on key business initiatives and investments.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ICAN, ACA, or ACCA certification is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a high-growth or tech-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax laws.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics) and Excel.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
