Our client, a renowned leader in the construction industry, is actively seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Construction Project Manager to join their fully remote team. This role requires an individual with extensive experience in managing all phases of construction projects, from initial planning and budgeting to execution and close-out. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and project management principles. You will be responsible for overseeing project timelines, ensuring quality control, managing budgets, and coordinating with various stakeholders, all while working remotely and driving successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule. Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, and risk assessment. Manage project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-control measures to ensure profitability. Coordinate and manage all construction activities, including site preparation, material procurement, and subcontractor management. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections (virtually and/or through designated representatives) and progress meetings to monitor performance and address any issues. Liaise effectively with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution. Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients, utilizing virtual communication tools. Manage change order processes and resolve any disputes or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle. Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. Implement and enforce health and safety protocols on all project sites. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and progress records. Foster a collaborative and productive working environment among project teams and stakeholders, leveraging remote collaboration technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, RMP) are highly advantageous. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects. In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and safety regulations. Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, MS Project) and standard office productivity tools. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities, especially in a remote context. Ability to effectively coordinate with remote teams and stakeholders. Experience with diverse construction types (e.g., residential, commercial, industrial) is a plus.
