Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Project Officer (CPO) to lead and oversee large-scale, multi-sector projects across our operations in Nigeria. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong project governance, execution excellence, and the ability to manage complex projects from planning to delivery.
The ideal candidate is a Lebanese expatriate professional with proven experience managing projects in emerging or fast-growing markets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all company projects
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget
• Establish project management frameworks, standards, and KPIs
• Lead and supervise project managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams
• Manage contractors, consultants, and third-party vendors
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards
• Report project performance to executive management and board level
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10+ years experience in project management or project leadership roles
• Proven track record managing large, complex, multi-stakeholder projects
• Strong background in construction, real estate, infrastructure, or related sectors
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment
• Lebanese nationality / expatriate experience strongly preferred
• Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) are an advantage
