Job Description
Our client requires a seasoned Lead Project Manager to spearhead complex software development initiatives in a fully remote capacity. This role is critical for ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As the Lead Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure. You will define project scope, develop detailed project plans, manage resources, identify and mitigate risks, and foster strong communication channels among project teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership. A key aspect of this role involves driving agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) within the development teams, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. You will also be responsible for budget management, tracking project expenditures, and reporting on financial status. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of managing large-scale software projects in a remote setting. You should be adept at problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management. Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Asana is essential.
