Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Planning & Project Coordination to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of construction projects.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of project management, engineering, and quantity surveying knowledge, enabling them to coordinate across technical, financial, and operational aspects of construction projects. They will work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Quantity Surveyors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Scheduling
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Prepare baseline, short-term, and look-ahead programmes for site execution.
• Monitor progress against schedules, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Quantity Surveyors to align programme with cost and procurement timelines.
Project Coordination
• Act as the central point of coordination between Project Managers, Engineers, QS, contractors, and consultants.
• Track and update work progress, critical paths, and dependencies.
• Support the management of resources, materials, and subcontractor schedules.
Engineering & Technical Support
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Assist in resolving technical issues on site with engineers and contractors.
• Ensure integration of design, execution, and cost control information.
Quantity Surveying Interface
• Collaborate with QS teams to track material take-offs, variations, and cost implications.
• Support budget monitoring and reporting for project management review.
• Ensure timely submission of documentation to support billing, claims, and cost tracking.
Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and milestone trackers.
• Maintain records of RFIs, approvals, change orders, and site reports.
• Produce data-driven insights to support project decisions.
Risk, Quality & Compliance
• Identify potential project risks, delays, and impacts on cost/scope.
• Ensure project documentation and site execution comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in construction project planning and coordination.
• Demonstrable experience in project management, engineering, and cost control.
• Hands-on experience working with Quantity Surveyors on budgeting, procurement, and variations.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and site operations.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦250,000.00 - ₦300,000.00 per month
