Job Scope
• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oncology Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team.
• This full-time, onsite role involves providing exceptional patient care, administering chemotherapy, and managing other cancer treatments.
• The Oncology Nurse will monitor patient symptoms and progress, ensuring optimal outcomes through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Job Responsibilities
• Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive care to oncology patients, including the administration of chemotherapy and other cancer treatment.
• Symptom Management: Expertly manage patient symptoms, ensuring comfort and well-being throughout treatment.
• Patient Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Collaboration: Work closely with oncologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.
• Ethical Standards: Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards in all patient interactions.
Job Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; additional certifications or advanced degrees in Oncology Nursing are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. Must have significant experience in Clinical Oncology Nursing or Palliative Care Nursing.
• Specialized Skills: Candidates must be seasoned, doubly qualified nurses with experience in Accident & Emergency A&E or theatre nursing.
• Oncology Expertise: In-depth knowledge of oncology nursing, including chemotherapy and cancer treatment protocols.
• Patient Care: Demonstrated expertise in patient care, including symptom management and monitoring progress.
