Hospital Matron (Senior Registered Nurse)

We are seeking an experienced and highly disciplined Hospital Matron Senior RN to provide nursing leadership, ensure quality patient care, and maintain high clinical and ethical standards across the hospital. The ideal candidate will oversee nursing operations, enforce protocols, and drive a culture of excellence, safety, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff across all units
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards
• Monitor patient care quality and address clinical performance gaps
• Develop duty rosters and manage staffing needs
• Mentor and train nurses to improve competence and professionalism
• Collaborate with doctors, department heads, and management on patient care delivery
• Support audits, accreditation processes, and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements
• Registered Nurse RN with valid practicing license
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Sound knowledge of hospital operations and nursing governance
• High level of integrity, emotional intelligence, and decision-making ability
