As we expand into Lekki, Lagos, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Media Manager to lead our digital presence and drive market penetration.

Position Overview

We are looking for a strategic, creative, and results-driven Social Media Manager with proven experience working for a wine or alcoholic beverage company. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of wine branding, consumer behavior, and the Nigerian market landscape.

This role will be responsible for building brand awareness, driving engagement, supporting e-commerce sales, and executing digital campaigns that position our champagne and wine portfolio as a leading choice in Nigeria.

This is a hybrid role requiring both remote work and in-office collaboration in Lekki, Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Awareness

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with product launch goals.

Build strong brand positioning for new champagne and wine products in the Nigerian market.

Create and maintain a consistent brand voice across all digital platforms.

Plan and manage product launch campaigns, activations, and collaborations.

Content Creation & Management

Develop high-quality, engaging content tailored to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn.

Oversee professional photography, videography, and lifestyle content production.

Create content calendars aligned with sales cycles, holidays, and industry trends.

Manage influencer partnerships, brand ambassadors, and UGC campaigns.

Market Penetration & Growth

Drive targeted campaigns to increase brand awareness and market penetration.

Identify and engage key wine communities, hospitality partners, and lifestyle audiences.

Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly.

E-Commerce & Online Sales

Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to drive online product sales.

Manage social commerce integrations and digital storefronts.

Optimize product visibility across e-commerce platforms.

Implement paid ad strategies to increase traffic and conversions.

Analyze customer journey and improve online purchasing experience.

Analytics & Performance

Track KPIs including engagement, reach, conversions, and ROI.

Provide monthly performance reports with actionable insights.

Optimize campaigns using data-driven decision-making.

Community Management

Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and maintain strong online customer relationships.

Manage customer feedback professionally, maintaining brand reputation.

Requirements

Mandatory: Proven work experience in a wine, champagne, or alcoholic beverage company.

Minimum of 3–5 years of social media management experience.

Demonstrated experience launching new products into competitive markets.

Strong understanding of the Nigerian consumer market.

Proven e-commerce experience (Shopify, WooCommerce, or other online sales platforms).

Experience managing paid advertising campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads).

Portfolio showcasing previous social media campaigns, content creation, and measurable results (Required).

Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.

Experience working with influencers and lifestyle brands.

Excellent analytical and reporting skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in Sales, branding or marketing.

Strong network within hospitality, nightlife, and premium retail sectors in Lagos.

Knowledge of wine culture, tasting notes, and product positioning.
