In partnership with our client, we are seeking a
Sales Officer for the Private Sector who knows how to identify opportunity in the corporate world and turn it into revenue. This is a role for someone who is hungry, people-smart, and commercially sharp, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with private companies and corporate organisations. If you thrive in a target-driven environment and love the thrill of closing deals, we want to meet you.
Who are we looking for?
• You are a driven sales professional with experience in sales or business development, ideally within financial services.
• You are confident and personable, able to engage HR departments and decision makers in corporate organisations with ease.
• You are target-oriented, consistently motivated to meet monthly and quarterly sales goals.
• You are a strong relationship builder, able to maintain and grow existing client relationships while actively pursuing new ones.
• You are an excellent communicator and negotiator, able to present financial products in a way that resonates with corporate audiences.
• You are self-motivated and able to work independently while remaining accountable to team goals.

Your Responsibilities...
• You will identify and develop new sales opportunities within private sector organisations and corporate companies.
• You will promote and sell the organisation's financial products and services to businesses and their employees.
• You will build and maintain strong relationships with HR departments and key decision makers in target companies.
• You will conduct sales presentations and client engagement sessions to drive interest and conversions.
• You will achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets consistently.
• You will support the onboarding of new clients, ensuring proper documentation and a smooth experience.
• You will maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive retention and upselling opportunities.
• You will provide feedback on customer needs and market trends to support product and strategy decisions.
• You will maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records at all times.

What Success Looks Like...
• Monthly and quarterly sales targets are consistently met or exceeded.
• A growing portfolio of private sector clients is actively managed and retained.
• New business opportunities are regularly identified and converted within the corporate space.
• Client onboarding is completed smoothly with full documentation and compliance.
• Valuable market and customer feedback is regularly shared with internal teams to inform strategy.

To be considered for this role you should have...
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience in sales or business development.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and consistently meet sales targets.
• Good understanding of corporate sales environments.

Challenges you may face in this role...
• Breaking into established corporate relationships and convincing decision makers to switch to or adopt new financial products.
• Managing a busy sales pipeline while maintaining the quality of client relationships and documentation.
• Staying motivated and consistent in a competitive, target-driven environment.
• Balancing the demands of acquiring new clients with the need to nurture and retain existing ones.

The Goodies...
• Competitive salary and benefits package.
• Opportunity for professional growth and development within the financial services sector.
• A collaborative and performance-driven work environment.
• Direct impact on the organisation's private sector revenue growth.
