Job Title: Senior HR Manager (FMCG Manufacturing)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced HR Manager to lead human resources operations within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate must have strong factory HR experience, deep understanding of labour law, workforce management, and the ability to drive structure, discipline, and performance across large employee populations.
This role requires a hands-on HR leader, not a purely corporate HR professional.
Key Responsibilities
-Manage end-to-end HR operations for factory and support staff.
-Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention of operational and technical roles.
-Handle employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievance management.
-Manage industrial relations and union engagements (where applicable).
-Drive workforce planning, shift structures, and manpower optimisation.
-Implement and enforce HR policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
-Partner with Production and Operations teams to support productivity goals.
-Oversee performance management and behavioural standards on-site.
-Manage HR records, audits, payroll inputs, and statutory compliance.
-Lead learning, development, and succession planning initiatives.
Requirements
-8–12 years HR experience, with strong FMCG manufacturing exposure.
-Proven experience managing factory-based HR operations.
-Solid knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and industrial relations.
-Experience handling large workforces and operational teams.
-Strong communication, judgment, and leadership skills.
-Ability to work fully on-site in a factory environment.
-Professional HR certification is an advantage.
