The Senior HR Generalist will oversee a broad range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, performance management, and compliance. You will act as a key point of contact for employees and management, providing expert guidance and support on HR-related matters. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational skills and a deep understanding of current HR best practices and employment law. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing HR policies and programs that align with business objectives and promote employee engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and new hires. Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on complex employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, adhering to company policies and legal requirements. Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance. Oversee the performance management cycle, including goal setting, feedback mechanisms, and performance reviews. Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations. Drive employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data. Provide training and development support to employees and managers. Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategic solutions. Support change management initiatives and organizational development efforts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is highly desirable. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a strong understanding of generalist functions. Proven experience in managing employee relations, talent acquisition, and performance management. In-depth knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and employment regulations. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in HRIS systems and HR software. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a remote work environment. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
