Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized human resources and administrative officer to support our growing team. This role combines core HR functions with administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, people-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities: Human Resources Duties
• Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, training, performance tracking, and offboarding.
• Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Coordinate employee engagement activities, feedback systems, and wellness initiatives.
• Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and performance management systems.
• Manage HR documentation, including contracts, memos, and policy manuals.
• Provide guidance on employment law, HR best practices, and company policies.
• Monitor and track leave, attendance, and compliance with HR requirements.
Administrative Duties
• Oversee general office administration, including supplies management, logistics, and facilities coordination.
• Handle incoming communications, schedule meetings, and manage calendars.
• Ensure office operations run smoothly and support other departments as needed.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and handle correspondence as assigned.
• Support event planning, both internal (team-building, trainings) and external (company events, meetings).
Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in HR and/or administration (a tech or startup environment is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR practices.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HR tools (e.g., HRIS, Trello, Slack, Google Workspace).
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
• A proactive, resourceful, and flexible approach to work.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: From ₦150,000.00 per month
