Our client, a dynamic and fast-growing e-commerce startup, is seeking a creative and results-driven Remote Social Media Marketing Manager to build and amplify their brand presence online. This fully remote role is perfect for a digital native with a passion for all things social media, content creation, and community engagement. You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative social media strategies across various platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with marketing objectives and brand voice. Create, curate, and manage engaging and high-quality content (text, images, video) for all social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn). Monitor social media trends, identify opportunities for engagement, and stay ahead of platform algorithm changes. Manage and grow online communities, responding to comments and messages in a timely and engaging manner. Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns to reach target audiences and achieve ROI goals. Analyze social media performance metrics, generate regular reports, and provide insights for continuous improvement. Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure brand consistency and integrated campaign execution. Identify and engage with influencers and brand advocates to expand reach and credibility. Stay updated on the latest social media tools, platforms, and best practices. Manage the social media content calendar and ensure timely posting and updates.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in social media marketing, with a proven track record of developing successful social media campaigns for brands, preferably in e-commerce. Deep understanding of major social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices. Excellent content creation skills, including copywriting, basic graphic design, and video editing. Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms. Proven ability to manage paid social advertising campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for engaging storytelling. Creative thinking and a passion for staying on top of digital marketing trends. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
