Job Title: Construction Project Manager (8–10 Year’s Experience)
Location: Lagos
Remuneration: Based on Experience
Reports To: Managing Director / Head of Projects
Travel Requirement: Must be available to manage projects across multiple states
Role Overview
The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and regulatory compliance standards.
This role combines both site and office responsibilities, requiring strong coordination, technical expertise, and stakeholder management skills. The ideal candidate must have proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects and engaging with clients, government agencies, and regulatory authorities to secure necessary approvals and permits.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management from concept to commissioning.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, engineers, and suppliers.
• Oversee site operations to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Review technical drawings, BOQs, specifications, and engineering reports.
• Conduct periodic site inspections and progress evaluations.
• Liaise with government agencies and regulatory bodies to secure approvals and permits.
• Ensure full compliance with local building codes, environmental standards, and safety regulations.
• Serve as primary liaison between the company and clients.
• Provide technical and progress updates to stakeholders.
• Oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Implement project management tools and systems to track performance.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in construction or infrastructure project management.
• Certification from Project Management Institute (PMP or CAPM) is required also candidate should be a member of NSE OR COREN
• Proven track record of managing medium to large-scale projects.
• Experience coordinating multi-state projects.
• Strong background in regulatory approvals and government engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
