Our client, a reputable engineering company seeks a dynamic Head of Human Resources to lead its HR function. The ideal candidate will drive strategic HR initiatives, oversee talent management, employee relations, HR Policy and Systems compliance, and support a high-performance culture. This is a key leadership role requiring strong HR expertise, Strong Financial Services industry knowledge, and the ability to align people strategy with business goals. His/Her first key assignment will be to restructure and transform the current HR system as is currently designed.
Key Responsibilities
• Review the current design of the Department and align with Industry Best Practices
• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s vision, mission, and goals.
• Provide strategic leadership in talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, and succession planning.
• Lead organizational development initiatives to support growth, culture transformation, and workforce optimization.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
• Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts across the organization.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive management on all human capital matters.
• Manage and mentor the HR team to ensure efficient HR service delivery.
• Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
• Monitor and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve outcomes.
• Lead HR budgeting, workforce planning, and compensation strategy.

Qualifications & Experience
• BSc Second Class Upper or HND Upper Credit in any course of study. A background in HR could be an advantage.
• Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM-SCP, or CIPD is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a mid-senior leadership role
• Proven experience in strategic HR leadership, preferably in financial services or pension administration
• Strong knowledge of labour law, HR policy, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage change, drive culture transformation, and lead high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and data-driven HR management
