Job Summary
The Relationship Officer for Corporate Banking / High Net-Worth Individuals HNI is part of the sales team responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing a portfolio of corporate clients and high-value individual customers. The role focuses on deposit mobilization, credit portfolio growth, structured financial solutions, and delivering premium relationship management services to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and acquire corporate clients and High Net-Worth Individuals HNIs.
• Mobilize large-ticket deposits and grow low-cost funding.
• Structure and market tailored financial solutions including working capital loans, term loans, investment products, treasury products, and trade finance solutions.
• Manage and deepen relationships with existing corporate and HNI clients to increase wallet share.
• Conduct financial analysis and credit assessment for lending opportunities.
• Prepare credit proposals and present to internal credit committees.
• Cross-sell banking products such as cash management, digital banking, payroll solutions, and investment products.
• Ensure full compliance with KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide periodic portfolio performance reports and market intelligence updates.
• Maintain high service standards and handle client escalations professionally.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2–5 years experience in Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, or HNI Relationship Management.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment.
• Proven track record in deposit mobilization and revenue generation.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Relevant professional certifications CIBN, ICAN, ACCA, CFA is an added advantage.
