Requirements
• The candidate must possess a good First Degree not below Second-class lower division in Earth Science or Environmental Science, a Master's and Ph.D Degree in Marine Science or in any of the relevant areas of Geological, Geophysical, Physical and Chemical Oceanography, and Marine Meteorology with a minimum of six 6 years post-qualification experience in teaching, research and student supervision in a recognised university.
• In addition, the candidates must have extensive scholarly publications in reputable high-impact journals to their credit and demonstrate evidence of exemplary academic leadership as well as community service.
• Membership of relevant professional bodies is an added advantage.
