Qualification and Experience
• The candidate must possess a good First Degree, not below second-class lower division in Meteorology, Mathematics, Physics, Geography, or any relevant field, a Master's and Ph.D degrees in Meteorology or Climate Science with a minimum of three 3 years post- qualification experience in teaching, research and student supervision in a recognised university.
• In addition, the candidates mus have extensive scholarly publications in reputable high-impact journals to their credit and demonstrat evidence of exemplary academic leadership as well as community service.
• Membership of relevant professional bodies is an added advantage.
