Job Description
Cruz Wise Consulting is seeking a detail oriented and proactive Account Associate to support its finance and accounting operations. The successful candidate will assist with daily accounting activities, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance while contributing to efficient financial management across multiple client engagements. This role is ideal for a motivated professional looking to grow within a consulting and professional services environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions
Assist with payroll processing and statutory deductions
Support month end and year end financial closing activities
Maintain proper documentation and organized accounting files
Assist with tax filings and regulatory compliance requirements
Collaborate with senior accountants and consultants on client engagements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
1–3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance
Basic to intermediate understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Professional certification (ICAN / ACCA) is an added advantage
