JOB SUMMARY

Finance Business Partners will be responsible for accurate accounting of all financial transactions and timely preparation of business unit reports and month-end close activities across various subsidiaries while serving as a finance liaison to the business based on assigned subsidiaries and vertical.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

l Budget preparation, financial planning, and control for Enugu subsidiaries.

l Ensure accurate billing, journal entries, and payment processing.

l Review and analyze general ledgers, with monthly customer and vendor account reconciliations.

l Manage collections, invoicing, and commercial finance to support growth.

l Develop reports, handle escalations, and drive business performance improvements.

l Liaise with regional finance for alignment and coordination.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

l A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.

l Minimum eight (8) years' experience in accounting, financial analysis or similar role preferably any of the industries mentioned.

l Relevant professional certifications and membership (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or any other relevant professional body).

l Good working knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles; advanced knowledge of IFRS, finance best practices, financial reporting and analysis.

l Experience in preparing accurate and thorough financial reports and related schedules in line with established deadlines.

l Experience with general ledger management and the month-end/year end close process and activities.

l Proficiency in the use of accounting packages (e.g., ERPNext, SAP, Sage, QuickBooks, Oddo etc.).

l Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools.
