We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior GL Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to GAAP preparation, P&L analysis and balance sheet preparation, they will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.What will you do…GAAP preparation and entry of journal entriesCalculation of accrualsPerform bank reconciliations and ensure proper coding of cash receipts and transfersMaintain fixed assetsPrepare balance sheet and P&L account reconciliationsPerform monthly P&L analysis with explanation for variances to budget and/or prior periods including proposing required journal entries as neededSet and execute year-end accounting close activitiesSupports annual financial and other auditsLiaison between and assist with AR, AP, general accounting, finance, IT, and other teams as necessaryIdentify and drive revenue initiatives and strategy to advance the team and organizationMake recommendations and implement actions necessary to maintain and improve team and organization metricsOther duties & projects as assignedQualificationsMinimum 5 years of prior general ledger accounting experienceHealthcare industry experience a plusSAAS experience a plusProfessional written and verbal communication and presentation skillsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Advance Filters, Pivot tables, If Statements, Text to Columns, etc.)Strong account reconciliation skillsStrong data analysis skillsAmenable to work on a schedule (2PM - 11PM)Additional InformationWhat you will experience…A fast-paced, collaborative, and purpose-driven team environment that empowers you to thrive and grow.Opportunities to shape the voice of a global tech brand while working alongside innovative leaders.Professional development and leadership support to sharpen your expertise.Competitive compensation and a full suite of benefits, including health and wellness programs, and generous paid time off (vacation days, holidays, and birthday leave).A culture that values transparency, creativity, and continuous learning.
