Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accountant to manage financial within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on accounting experience, preferably within a hospital or medical practice setting, and a strong understanding of healthcare financial systems and compliance requirements.
This role requires a structured thinker who can manage multiple financial responsibilities while maintaining accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Bookkeeping
• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements and accounts

2. Budgeting & Forecasting
• Develop and monitor departmental budgets
• Support financial planning and cash flow forecasting
• Track expenditure against approved budgets

3. Inventory Management
• Monitor medical supplies and pharmaceutical inventory
• Reconcile inventory records with financial statements
• Implement cost control measures

4. Payroll Management
• Process staff payroll accurately and on time
• Ensure statutory deductions and remittances are compliant
• Maintain payroll records and documentation

5. Compliance & Regulatory Reporting
• Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations and best practices
• Support internal and external audits
• Maintain proper documentation for regulatory review

6. Financial Analysis
• Provide financial insights to support management decision-making
• Identify cost-saving opportunities
• Prepare variance analysis reports

Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience (healthcare experience preferred)
• Experience in practice management, ideally within healthcare
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and financial best practices
• Proficiency in practice management software and general office applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
