INTERNSHIP – Delivery & Commissioning Stage
Role Summary:
The intern will support the project team during the final stages of the estate development by assisting with day-to-day site documentation, quality checks, and the updating of project trackers and records. This role is critical to ensuring accurate documentation, effective quality control, and a smooth close-out and handover process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily site documentation, including reports, logs, and records of ongoing works.
• Support quality checks on completed and ongoing works in line with approved drawings, specifications, and checklists.
• Update project trackers, snag lists, quality registers, and close-out schedules.
• Maintain organized digital and hard-copy project files, including photos, inspection records, and approvals.
• Assist with commissioning and handover documentation, including as-built records and compliance documents.
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to capture progress updates and quality observations.
• Flag documentation gaps, quality issues, or missing records to the project team promptly.
• Support general administrative and coordination tasks related to project close-out.
Requirements:
• Current student or recent graduate in Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of construction processes and site operations is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Google workspace and document management tools.
• Willingness to work on-site and engage with technical teams.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
