Human Resources Officer (Hospitality / Chinese Restaurant)
Job Summary
We are a Chinese restaurant in Abuja seeking an experienced HR Officer to manage recruitment, staff records, payroll support, discipline, compliance, and employee relations within a hospitality environment. The ideal candidate must understand restaurant operations and workforce management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle recruitment and onboarding of restaurant staff (kitchen, service, bar, cleaners, supervisors)
• Maintain accurate staff records, contracts, and personnel files
• Manage attendance, leave, shift schedules, and disciplinary records
• Support payroll preparation in collaboration with the accountant
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies
• Handle staff welfare, grievances, and conflict resolution
• Enforce workplace rules, code of conduct, and hygiene standards
• Coordinate staff training and performance monitoring
• Liaise with management on staffing needs and workforce planning
• Manage expatriate staff documentation where applicable (if any)
• Perform other HR duties related to hospitality and restaurant operations
Requirements
• HND/BSc in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 3–5 years HR experience, preferably in hospitality or restaurant industry
• Good understanding of Nigerian labour laws
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
Hospitality or restaurant HR experience is strongly preferred.

Pay: ₦80, ₦100,000.00 per month
