Job Summary
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) serves as a member of Truconnected’s executive leadership team and is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive global marketing, communications, and brand strategy that advances Truconnected’s mission, strengthens fundraising capacity, supports global partnerships, and elevates the organization’s visibility across public, private, and philanthropic sectors.
The CMO will lead brand positioning, storytelling, donor engagement, thought leadership, and marketing infrastructure to support Truconnected’s global growth and long-term sustainability.
This role requires a visionary, strategic, and execution-focused global marketing leader with experience in nonprofit, technology, social impact, or international development sectors.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesGlobal Marketing Strategy and Brand Leadership
• Develop and execute Truconnected’s global marketing and communications strategy aligned with organizational growth and fundraising objectives
• Establish and govern global brand positioning, voice, messaging architecture, and brand standards
• Position Truconnected as a global thought leader in digital inclusion, digital equity, and technology access
• Ensure brand consistency across all global programs, markets, and platforms
Fundraising and Donor Engagement Enablement
• Partner with executive leadership to support institutional fundraising, corporate partnerships, and grant acquisition
• Lead creation of donor-facing marketing assets including proposals, impact reports, presentations, and campaigns
• Develop storytelling frameworks that translate program outcomes into compelling narratives for funders and stakeholders
• Support development of global CSR, ESG, and philanthropic partnerships
Public Relations and Global Visibility
• Lead global PR strategy, media relations, and executive thought leadership positioning
• Secure media coverage, speaking engagements, and global conference visibility
• Position Truconnected leadership as recognized experts in digital equity and social innovation
Partnership and Growth Marketing
• Support strategic partnerships through co-branded marketing and joint communications initiatives
• Enable business development and partnership teams with marketing tools and positioning
• Develop campaigns to attract partners, donors, and global collaborators
Marketing Infrastructure and Organizational Capability
• Build scalable marketing systems, dashboards, and performance tracking frameworks
• Establish marketing SOPs, workflows, and operational excellence
• Lead marketing technology strategy, including CRM, digital platforms, and analytics
• Build and lead a high-performing global marketing team over time
Impact Measurement and Reporting
• Translate program outcomes into measurable impact narratives
• Develop executive dashboards and reports demonstrating marketing ROI and mission impact
• Support organizational transparency and accountability to donors and stakeholders
Skills, Abilities, and Experience
• Visionary global marketing leadership with strategic and execution excellence
• Exceptional brand development and positioning capabilities
• Strong storytelling and narrative development skills
• Experience supporting fundraising, donor communications, and institutional partnerships
• Strong executive presence and stakeholder engagement capability
• Deep understanding of nonprofit, social impact, or global development sectors
• Experience working across international markets and diverse cultural environments
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and performance measurement skills
• Experience building marketing infrastructure and scalable systems
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Minimum Qualifications
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, communications, or brand leadership
• Proven global or multi-country marketing experience
• Experience in nonprofit, social impact, technology, or international development sectors preferred
• Demonstrated success supporting fundraising, partnerships, or organizational growth
• Executive leadership experience or equivalent senior strategic role
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with global nonprofits, foundations, or international organizations
• Experience in technology, digital inclusion, or digital transformation sectors
• Experience building brands from growth stage to global scale
• Experience working with executive leadership and Boards of Directors
Physical Requirements
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
• Ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings across global time zones

Pay: ₦750,000.00 - ₦948,000.00 per month
