Loan Officer

Role Description
• This is a full-time on-site role, based in Ibadan, for a Loan Officer.
• The Loan Officer will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, performing credit analysis, and ensuring all underwriting standards are met.
• Day-to-day tasks will include processing loan originations, managing client relationships, and providing exceptional customer service to prospective and existing clients.
• Additionally, the Loan Officer will play a crucial role in recommending appropriate financial solutions tailored to meet client needs.

Qualifications
• Expertise in Loan Origination and Underwriting processes
• Strong skills in Customer Service and building client relationships
• Knowledge of finance principles and practices, especially in SME lending
• Experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in financial services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in analysis and attention to detail in loan evaluations
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
• Familiarity with industry regulations and lending procedures is an advantage
