Our client, a forward-thinking technology firm, is seeking a highly experienced Remote Lead Project Manager to spearhead critical software development initiatives. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while driving impactful projects. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of software development lifecycles, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and managing multiple software development projects from initiation to closure. Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation. Facilitating Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Managing project budgets and ensuring financial objectives are met. Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues. Communicating project status, progress, and potential roadblocks to stakeholders. Mentoring and guiding project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment. Ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards and best practices. Driving continuous improvement in project management processes.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex software development projects, preferably in a remote or distributed team setting. Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana) is essential. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are paramount. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master's degree or PMP/Scrum Master certification is a significant plus.
