Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation. Managing the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Implementing and overseeing agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) for software development. Facilitating effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders. Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues. Tracking project progress and providing regular status reports. Managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring client satisfaction. Coordinating with QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. Conducting project post-mortems and identifying lessons learned for future projects.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within the software development industry. Proven experience managing complex software projects using agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum Master certification) is highly desirable. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are paramount. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to changing requirements is crucial. As this is a fully remote role, exceptional organizational skills, self-discipline, and the ability to work autonomously are essential.
