Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality lectures and practical sessions in various Computer Science topics, including programming, algorithms, data structures, software engineering, and database systems. Develop and update course syllabi, lecture notes, and supplementary learning materials. Design and administer assignments, quizzes, projects, and examinations to assess student learning. Provide constructive feedback to students on their academic performance. Offer academic advising and mentorship to students, guiding them on their educational and career paths. Supervise student projects and research activities. Stay current with advancements in Computer Science and incorporate them into the curriculum. Contribute to departmental meetings and academic initiatives. Potentially conduct and publish research in areas related to Computer Science. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress. Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field. A Ph.D. is highly desirable. Proven experience in teaching or lecturing at the university or college level. Strong knowledge base across core Computer Science disciplines. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse student audiences. Familiarity with various teaching methodologies and educational technologies. Experience with curriculum development and assessment design. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-campus and remote responsibilities. Proficiency in relevant programming languages and development tools. Passion for teaching and fostering a supportive learning environment. Must be authorized to work in Onitsha, Anambra, NG .
