Applicants must possess the following:
• A PhD in Mass Communication or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of six 6 years post-PhD teaching and research experience at the university level or equivalent.
• A strong record of scholarly publications in reputable local and international journals.
• Demonstrated capacity to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Professional affiliation with relevant bodies such as ACCE, NIPR, APCON, or NUJ will be an added advantage.
