• We are seeking dedicated and passionate educators with teaching and training backgrounds to join our reputable institution in Port Harcourt, Rivers.
• You will cover both lecturing at the MMI Modern Montessori International institute and CSCDC Chelis School Consultancy and Development Centre, where you will be expected to organize and manage training sessions.
Responsibilities
• Organize and supervise training center’s academic activities to ensure smooth running of the training center.
• Maintain proper academic and student records, files, manuals and correspondence materials; and ensure that records and reports are timely sent to appropriate persons.
• Schedule and arrange meetings, appointments and outings towards promoting and marketing the College whenever necessary.
• Attend to queries and complaints from students and enquirers as much as possible on the telephone, by email and/or in person; and direct or also notify the course coordinator of such queries and complaints.
• Conduct academic induction routines and orientation for new entrants/intakes.
• Responsible for ensuring lectures and classes are held on time, and the students get the very best of every lecture.
• Responsible for Student Teaching Practice supervision and monitoring.
• Carry out a range of administrative, publicity & marketing, training and presentation tasks as may be required.
Requirements
• A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a reputable university or college of education. Certification in MMI is an added advantage.
• Minimum of two years of teaching background in a reputable school/field.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc..
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Prudent and able to manage training budgets, keeping them at a minimal level.
• Passionate about providing quality education and fostering the holistic development of students.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students and colleagues.
• Close proximity or within reasonable commuting distance to Rumobiakani, Port Harcourt, Rivers, is a plus
• The position entails working alternate Saturdays per month.
