Job Description
Job Summary
• We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Auxiliary Nurse to support our clinical team in providing exceptional care to our patients, particularly expectant mothers and post-operative patients.

Key Responsibilities
• Patient Care: Assist patients with personal hygiene, bathing, and dressing, ensuring they are comfortable and well-cared for.
• Vital Signs: Accurately take and record patient vitals blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration and report any abnormalities to the Senior Nurse or Doctor.
• Clinical Support: Assist Registered Nurses and Doctors during examinations, wound dressings, and minor procedures.
• Maternity Support: Assist in the labor room and postnatal ward, providing basic care for newborns and support for new mothers.
• Sanitation & Sterilization: Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the wards and treatment rooms; ensure medical instruments are properly sterilized.
• Bed Management: Ensure beds are neatly made and linens are changed regularly according to hospital hygiene standards.
• Errands: Facilitate the movement of lab samples, medical records, or pharmacy supplies between departments.

Requirements
• Qualification: Certificate or evidence of training as an Auxiliary Nurse from a recognized healthcare facility or nursing home.
• Experience: Previous experience working in a hospital setting especially in a Maternity or OB/GYN ward is an added advantage.
• Faith: Must be a committed, born-again Christian who is willing to participate in hospital devotions and uphold Christian ethics.
• Residency: Candidate must reside within Enugu preferably close to Independence Layout, New Haven, Achara Layout, or Ogui Road.
• Attributes: High level of cleanliness, excellent communication skills, a "can-do" attitude, and deep empathy for patients.
