Job Description
• The successful candidates will support the Centre’s mandate to provide timely, confidential, survivor-centred medical care and to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and human dignity in responding to sexual and gender-based violence.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive clinical care to survivors of sexual violence in line with established protocols
• Ensure accurate medical documentation, evidence handling, and referrals
• Deliver care using trauma-informed, survivor-centred, and rights-based approaches
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professional ethics
• Work collaboratively with doctors, counsellors, law enforcement, and other stakeholders
• Participate in shift duties, including emergency response where required
Eligibility Criteria
• Registered Nurse with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria NMCN licence
• Minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience experience in SGBV response is an added advantage
• Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
• Strong understanding of ethical standards, consent, and confidentiality
• Ability to work under pressure in a sensitive clinical environment
• Commitment to safeguarding, non-discrimination, and survivor dignity.
