Senior Accountant

This critical role involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, preparing comprehensive financial statements, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a wide array of tasks including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable oversight, bank reconciliations, and financial analysis. You will play a crucial part in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met efficiently and accurately. Furthermore, this position requires a proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements in accounting processes and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and compliance. A strong understanding of Nigerian accounting standards (e.g., NAS) and taxation principles is essential.
