Our client, a fast-growing SaaS company revolutionizing the (industry - e.g., MarTech/FinTech) space, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Remote Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their expanding sales team. This is a fully remote position where you will be instrumental in driving new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential leads. You will focus on outbound prospecting via calls, emails, and social media to engage target accounts and articulate the value proposition of our client's innovative solutions. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record of success in a sales development or lead generation role, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of consultative selling techniques. You should be comfortable navigating CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft), and have the tenacity to consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets. This role requires excellent organizational skills, self-discipline, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment. You will work closely with Account Executives to ensure a smooth handover of qualified opportunities and contribute to overall sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and generate new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting activities. Conduct high-volume cold calls, personalized emails, and social outreach to potential clients. Effectively communicate the company's value proposition and product benefits to prospects. Qualify leads based on established criteria (e.g., BANT) and identify key decision-makers. Utilize CRM and sales engagement tools to manage prospect interactions and track progress. Collaborate closely with Account Executives to transition qualified leads and ensure sales pipeline health. Research target accounts and industry trends to tailor outreach strategies. Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly quotas for qualified opportunities and meetings booked. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the CRM. Participate in ongoing sales training and team meetings.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Sales Development Representative (SDR), Business Development Representative (BDR), or similar outbound sales role. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and persuasion skills. Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools. Strong understanding of sales methodologies and prospecting techniques. Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work effectively independently in a remote setting. Ability to research and understand target markets and customer needs. Enthusiasm for technology and a passion for sales. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Experience in SaaS sales is a strong advantage.
