Engaging with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products. Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets. Maintaining a high standard of visual merchandising and store presentation. Assisting with stock management, including receiving, unpacking, and replenishing inventory. Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately. Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with professionalism and empathy. Providing product training and support to junior sales staff. Participating in store opening and closing procedures. Collaborating with the store management team on sales strategies and operational improvements. Compiling and reporting on sales data and customer feedback as required. Ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in retail sales, with a track record of meeting sales goals. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Strong product knowledge and the ability to quickly learn about new merchandise. Proficiency in using POS systems and other relevant retail software. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
