Our client is actively seeking bright and ambitious Graduate Trainees to join their Project Management program in Lokoja, Kogi, NG . As a Graduate Trainee, you will receive comprehensive training and mentorship, gaining hands-on experience across various aspects of project management. You will work closely with experienced project managers, learning the intricacies of planning, executing, and monitoring construction projects from inception to completion. Program Structure and Responsibilities:
Participate in a structured training program covering project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Assist project managers in the development and maintenance of project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and site records. Shadow experienced professionals to gain practical insights into site operations, contract administration, and quality control processes. Support the coordination of activities between different project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Learn to identify potential project risks and assist in the development of mitigation strategies. Contribute to the monitoring of project timelines and budgets, flagging any potential issues. Participate in site visits and inspections to understand project execution firsthand. Assist in the preparation of project-related correspondence and presentations. Engage in problem-solving exercises and contribute innovative ideas to project challenges. Develop essential professional skills, including teamwork, communication, and time management. Gain exposure to various project management software and tools. Undergo regular performance reviews and receive constructive feedback to foster professional growth.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Strong academic record with excellent grades. Demonstrated interest in project management or the construction industry. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. High level of organization and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development. Must be legally eligible to work in Nigeria.
