Our client, a leading energy sector company, is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior HR Business Partner to support their operations in **Port Harcourt, Rivers, NG**. This crucial role serves as a key advisor to business leaders, aligning HR strategies with organizational objectives to drive employee engagement, talent development, and performance excellence. You will partner closely with assigned business units to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on a wide range of HR matters, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and organizational design. Responsibilities include developing and implementing HR initiatives that support business goals, coaching managers on HR best practices, and facilitating change management processes. The Senior HR Business Partner will also play a vital role in talent reviews, succession planning, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 6 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a business partnering capacity. Proven experience in employee relations, talent management, and HR project implementation is essential. Strong business acumen, excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills are required to effectively partner with senior leaders. Experience with HRIS systems and a solid understanding of Nigerian labor laws are also necessary.
