Our client, a growing organization in the manufacturing sector, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR operations in Zaria, Kaduna, NG . This role is integral to supporting the company's workforce and ensuring compliance with labor laws and best HR practices. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and HR policy development. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives, fostering a positive work environment, and enhancing employee engagement. Key duties include managing the recruitment process from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires, developing and delivering training programs, and overseeing employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. You will also manage payroll and benefits administration, ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, and maintain accurate employee records. The ability to develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures is crucial. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a high level of discretion and confidentiality. You will work closely with senior management to address workforce planning needs and talent management initiatives. Experience in change management and organizational development is highly desirable. The hybrid nature of this role allows for some remote work flexibility while maintaining essential on-site presence for key HR functions and employee interactions.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and policies. Oversee the entire recruitment and selection process, from job posting to onboarding. Manage employee relations, addressing grievances and resolving workplace conflicts. Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll processes. Develop and execute performance management systems and employee development programs. Ensure compliance with all local labor laws and regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases. Foster a positive and productive workplace culture. Advise senior management on HR-related matters and workforce planning. Develop and deliver HR training programs for employees and managers. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in HR roles, with at least 2 years in a management capacity. Proven experience in all key HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and compliance. Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor law and HR best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities. Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office Suite. High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality. Experience in the manufacturing sector is a plus. Ability to balance on-site and remote work effectively.
