Our client is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) with a strong background in employee relations to join their team in **Bauchi, Bauchi, NG**. This role serves as a critical link between management and employees, ensuring a harmonious and productive work environment. You will be responsible for providing strategic HR guidance and support to assigned business units, focusing on employee engagement, performance management, and talent development. A key component of this role involves proactively addressing employee concerns, mediating disputes, and conducting thorough investigations into grievances and policy violations, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies. You will partner with leadership to develop and implement HR initiatives that align with business objectives and foster a positive organizational culture. Responsibilities include advising on compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, and HR compliance matters. Developing and delivering HR training programs to managers and employees on topics such as performance management, conflict resolution, and diversity and inclusion will also be part of your remit. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant HR certifications (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) are advantageous. A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 3 years in an HRBP or similar role, with a demonstrable focus on employee relations, is required. Excellent understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices is essential. Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills are paramount. You should be adept at building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and navigating complex employee situations with discretion and professionalism. This hybrid role offers a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, allowing for efficient execution of duties. You will be expected to be present in the Bauchi office for key meetings and team interactions while also benefiting from remote workdays.
