Our client is seeking a strategic and collaborative Human Resources Business Partner to support their operations in Ilorin, Kwara, NG . This hybrid role will partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals, foster a positive employee experience, and drive talent management initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization. You will be responsible for providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and HR policy interpretation. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying HR needs and developing solutions that support business objectives. You will play a key role in implementing HR programs, facilitating change management, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Collaboration with the broader HR team to ensure best practices and compliance is essential. Experience with HRIS systems and a strong understanding of Nigerian labor laws are crucial. Responsibilities: Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals. Provide guidance and support on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution. Oversee talent acquisition processes, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding. Advise on compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and fairness. Interpret and apply HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws. Facilitate change management initiatives and support organizational development. Promote a positive and inclusive work environment. Develop and deliver HR training programs to managers and employees. Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and inform decision-making. Manage HR projects and initiatives from conception to completion. Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Collaborate with the HR team to implement HR best practices. Contribute to the development and refinement of HR policies and procedures. Ensure data integrity within the HR Information System (HRIS).
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in an HR Business Partner role. Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment law in Nigeria. Proven experience in employee relations, talent management, and performance management. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with employees and management. CIPM or equivalent certification is an advantage.
