Job Description
Our client, a dynamic and growing organization, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to join their fully remote team. This role is pivotal in supporting the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee relations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HR best practices and be adept at navigating complex HR challenges in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy, ensuring a remote-first approach. Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, talent development, and offboarding. Manage employee relations, providing guidance and support to both employees and management on HR-related issues, fostering a positive and productive remote work culture. Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market competitiveness and compliance. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, staying updated on any changes that may affect remote employees. Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, adapting them for a dispersed workforce. Collaborate with leadership to foster employee engagement, retention, and a strong organizational culture. Manage HR information systems (HRIS) and ensure data integrity. Conduct regular HR audits and recommend improvements. Provide training and development opportunities to employees and managers on HR-related topics. Spearhead initiatives for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the remote workforce. Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management on all HR-related matters. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR) are a plus. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a significant portion in a generalist capacity. Proven experience in managing employee relations, talent management, and compensation & benefits. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures. Excellent understanding of Nigerian labor laws and regulations, with a specific focus on remote work compliance. Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote setting. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a high degree of professionalism. Experience in building and fostering a positive remote work environment.
